i would like to volunteer at a boys and girls club. the one that we would like to work at is the one in germantown. it is at 25 w Penn street Philadelphia pa 19144. we plan to help kids learn about basketball and we would like to even help coach a team. I  want to do this because i can do something i like to do and still be doing school work.

Thurgood Marshall was one of the best lawyers in the game. one of the cases that he is famous for is brown vs. the board of education. he also did a lot of the cival rights. he also was the first black person to win a case in front of the supreme court. he also was the first black man to be chief of lawyers.one other thing he was the firstblack man to be  the first united states supreme court justice.

this article was helpful to my research because it has all the information i need in one whole article. also because it splits his life up and it helps me find the things i need to add to my paper. this is a secondary because it is not a autobiography and they didn't actually sit down wit thurgood marshall. the intended audience is young people i say that because it has a lot of pictures and the way the wording i for a younger audience.

the authority of the author is that if it wasn't for thurgood marshall people wouldn't be able to go to school with with diffrent races.

i choose Thurgood Marshall i am interested in his case Brown vs Broad of education in 1954. this person is important to history because without their efforts black and white people would not be able to go to the same schools. For this weeks research i found an article first you have to go to google.com and then you type this in an go to the first  one www.stamps.org/kids/images/thurgood.pdf.I also picked him because i want to become a well known lawyer just like Thurgood Marshall.

he also did a lot of other stuff that went down in u.s history. he was the first black man to win a case before the supreme court. he also black solicitor or the nations chief counsel or lawyers

election issues

I want Barack Obama to be the next president. i say that because he believes in the same thing i do on some of the issues.the one issues that he got me on is education. the problem is that schools do not have enough funding to provide the right education that the kids need. they also do not have enough money for supplies that students and teachers need.

Obama thinks that we need more funding for school. he also believes that everybody should have a chance to go to college so he wants to start a thing called tax credit. This is were the first 4,000 dollars of college is free and it will cover two thirds of the tuition. he will also make community college free. One last thing is that he is making sure that the teacher are ready to teach the students. 

On the other hand John Mccain says that the parents should move their kids out of failing schools. I do not think this is right there should not even be any failing schools the goverment should be trying to help the kids. some school does not even have chalk for them to right on the bored this is crazy. 

 i believe that school should have everything that students need to learn and teachers need to teach. there should not be any excuses why schools do not have these things. the goverment needs more funding for schools. that's why i choose Obama because he is about make it easier for students to go school.

why i choose constitution high

i choose this school because i want to become a lawyer when i get older and this school will help me achieve my goal. another reason i choose this school because it preps me for college. this school will give a lot of opportunities to achieve my goals so i can be successful in life.
